Message	it uses a bubble flare. If you wanted to convert it to AN the bet way would probably be to use a -6 pushlock hose and clamp it on as you would rubber, then use a AN hose end at the other side. to use a braided type hose you would to do some adapting since IIRC you can't use a -6 (3/8) compression fitting on a 5/16 hardline.
